Ronald M. Jandura Ed.D., peacefully at rest Friday, April 13, 2018
Preceded in death by his parents, Matthew (2003) and Pauline (2008) Jandura; brother, David Jandura (2015); sister-in-law, Sandra Jandura (2009).
Survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ann (Frisch) Jandura; one son, Daniel (Kelly) of Lebanon Tennessee; one daughter, Karianne (Phil) Page of St Anthony, Minnesota; grandsons, Alex and Ian Page; brothers, Matthew (Diane) Jandura and Richard (Connie) Jandura; sister, Paulette (Robert) Listner; numerous nieces and nephews.
Dr. Jandura spent 41 years in education culminating in 27 years as a school superintendent in three school districts: Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. A visionary who encouraged others to think outside the box. In retirement, Ron became a snow bird to Ocala, Florida. Spring breaks were spent on the beach enjoying his children and grandchildren. Ron also enjoyed his time at the cabin on Baby Lake in Minnesota and was an avid fisherman. He will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship has been set up in Dr. Ronald Jandura's name at Burlington High School WI. Donations will placed in this fund.
A celebration of Ronald's life will begin on Saturday, April 21, 2018 with funeral services in the funeral home chapel beginning at 10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet for interment. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
