Age 90. At rest Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Loving father of James (Carol) Staniszewski, JoAnn (Jim) Casper, Dorothy (Jerry) Weinhold, Raymond (fiancA�?A�AC. Tracey Stancik) Staniszewski, Gina (Joe) Ilcewicz, dearest grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 13. Also survived by Irene Swiersz (sister-in-law) nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents John and Martha (nee Widlowski) Staniszewski, sister Eleanor Matia, three brothers Daniel, Harold and Leonard Staniszewski. Roman was born in Princeton, WI and resided in Lockport Twp since 1917. Owner and operator of Staniszewski Excavating, Roman's Drive-In and rental properties, farmed in Lockport Twp and was self-employed in the heating business.
