Robert P. Wagner
October 13, 1926 — June 22, 2017
Robert P. Wagner, age 90, at rest on Thursday, June 22, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Lillian (nee Bebar); children, Jodi (Floyd) Browning, Bob (Debbie) Wagner, Tim (Kelly) Wagner and Scott (Mary) Wagner; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Rose (nee Perona) Wagner; and one brother Thomas Wagner.
Robert was a past member of the Knights of Columbus and a dedicated member of the Lockport Duck Club. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran. Robert was owner and partner with Bebar Wagner Builders, owner and partner in Commercial Concrete and owner and partner in Concrete by Wagner Inc. He will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s name to St. Joseph Church in Lockport and Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A celebration of Robert’s life will begin on Monday, June 26, 2017 with a visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lockport from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
Per Robert’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
There will be no services at the funeral home.
