Robert G. Waddell

Robert Waddell, age 55, passed away unexpectedly November 28, 2019.

Robert is survived by his loving children, Grail Waddell, Amber (Daniel) Waddell Stuckart, and Trevor Waddell. Loving parents Diana Hickman, and Robert D. Waddell. Siblings, Jessica Hatcher, David Waddell, Rebecca Alcorn, Terrance Waddell, Rachel Watson. Granddaughter, Harper Waddell Stuckart, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Robert was known for his passion for Scouts BSA. He held many accomplishments in the organization. These accomplishments include but are not limited to: becoming an Eagle Scout, a Vigil Member of Order of the Arrow, a Committee Chair for one unit and Scout Master of another. He also known for being a Campmaster for RSR. He also spent a number of years proudly serving in the U.S. Army where he was deployed to Operation Desert Storm, and numerous other deployments. Robert was also known for his involvement in the American Legion Post #18 and VFW Post #5788.

Preceded in death by his Paternal and Maternal Grand Parents.

A visitation will be held for Robert on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL starting at 3:00 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m. Any Scout BSA members attending the visitation are encouraged to wear their Scout shirts.

A memorial visitation will be held at the American Legion Post 18, 15052 Archer Ave, Lockport, IL 60441 on Thursday, December 5th beginning at 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Followed by a procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery for a inurnment at 2:30 p.m. with full military honors.
