86 years young passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family.
Born December 26, 1922 in Joliet, IL. Bob was a retired ironworker Local 444.
Preceded in death by wife, Katherine; parents, William and Mayme; brother, Charles; and great-granddaughter, Nicole C. Gray.
Survived by one sister, Dorothy (Bob) Luman; brothers, William and Richard (Emma) Pedersen; sister-in-law, Lorraine; daughter, Shirley; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob loved being outdoors, shopping with his brother, boating and most of all spending time with his family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Robert's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
At Robert's request cremation rites were accorded. Private services were held.
