Robert John Nejedlo

. Robert J. Nejedlo, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.

Robert is survived by his beloved children: Kevin Nejedlo and Amy (Josh) Bloodgood; two grandchildren, Luke and Michael Bloodgood; two brothers, William (Sharon) and Joseph (Sharon) Nejedlo and their children.

Preceded in death by his parents, William and Marie (nee Paider) Nejedlo and his daughter Lisa Nejedlo.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Robert later became a professor and counselor at Northern Illinois University. He was a past president of the American Counseling Association among other positions in the association. Robert enjoyed his retirement traveling and spending time with his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.

Per Robert's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. The family invites relatives and friends to join them on Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilsen, WI for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Pilsen, WI. There will be no funeral home visitation.
