Robert Allen Militello

Robert A. Militello, age 64 passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 25, 2022 with his loving family and friends by his side. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 34 years Beth (Boland) Militello, daughter Hannah Militello and fiancé Eric Humer. Son of Janet Militello and the late James A. Militello; brother to Pamela (Brian) Stofko, James (Roxane) Militello, Denise (Timothy) O’Halloran, and Michael (Debbie) Militello. Robert is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Midnight the cat.

A graduate of Joliet West High School class of 1976, Robert continued his education in radiology and served as a radiology technician for 23 years.  Most recently, he was employed by Minooka Community High School.

Robert loved his family and enjoyed life to its fullest. A professional musician since age 11, he dedicated much of his life to performing live music while playing drums and keyboard in bands such as Orange Whip, NoJo and Ryte AZ Rain.

An avid fishman, Robert looked forward to taking his boat out at the Coal City Area Club. He was also a dedicated sports fan and especially enjoyed watching boxing and MMA fights with family and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 4:00 P.M-8:00 P.M. at Tezak Funeral Home. Tezak Funeral Home is located at 1211 Plainfield Rd in Joliet. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel, 23060 W. Jefferson St. in Joliet at 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, November 2. 2022.
