Robert E. Mazac

Robert E. Mazac, age 77, late of Crest Hill, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Hines VA Extended Care Center.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ermalinda (nee Casino) Mazac, his daughter Cynthia Mazac, his brother Frank (Dorothy) Mazac of California and sister Betty (late John) Maratea of Chicago. Also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded by in death by his son David (late Carol) Mazac, his parents, Rudolph and Bessie (nee Teml) Mazac, and his brother Rudolph (late Martha) Mazac.
Robert was a loving husband and father. He was a disabled veteran of the US Army.
Memorial donations to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Robert"s name would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Robert"s Life will begin with prayers at the funeral home on Friday, December 3 at 11:00 AM, then in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Interment with military honors will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of prayers at 11:00 AM at:
