Robert E. LeRoy, Sr., Age 90, at peace with Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.
Robert is survived by four children, Robert Jr. (Janice), Judy (David) Smrekar, Kenneth (Cheri), and Karen (Mike) Perino; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; also survived by a wonderful sister-in-law, Lorraine Baudek; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; longtime friends, Geri and Bruce Baxter
Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (nee Baudek) LeRoy; and his precious grandson, Baby Bobby Perino.
Robert was born on January 13, 1925 in Tennessee and was a lifetime resident of Crest Hill. He retired from UniRoyal.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Rosewood Nursing Home for the wonderful care provided.
A Celebration of Robert's life will begin on Monday, May 11, 2015 with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of prayers to be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Mausoleum in Romeoville.
