At rest November 21, 2009 at his late residence in his sleep.
Survived by his children Heather Israel and Shaun Israel, his grandchildren Kennedy and Jennessa, his brother Bill (Jenny) Israel and his sisters Debra Pettersson and Edith (Stuart) Phillips, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also survived by his former wife Jeannie McTurner, who remained a close friend.
Preceded by his parents Robert, Sr. and Rose Israel and his brother Donald. Also, his nephew Brent Israel.
Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature, his family, and his dogs. He was proud of his volunteer service with the Sheffield Fire Department. He loved being a grandfather and his witty nature will be greatly missed by many.
