Robert E. Hanson
March 3, 1940 — March 7, 2008
Age 68, at rest Friday March 7, 2008 at the Loyalton of Joliet. Survived by one brother Michael (Corrine) Hanson, one uncle Matthew (Florence) Baron one aunt Sr. Merwyn Baron O.S.F also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by parents Albert and Tillie (nee Harhaj) Hanson, one sister Rosalie (Mike) Lynch, one brother Donald (Janice) Hanson. Robert was born in Joliet and a life long resident. He worked at the College of St. Francis for many years in the maintenance department and was a school bus driver for Joliet Central High School. Member of Laborer"s local # 75, Ingalls Park A.C, East Side A.C., Ravens Club and the Isaac Walton League and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and was an avid fisherman and loved the Chicago Cubs.
From where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM to St. Mary Magdalene Church For a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will be at Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm.
