Robert Cartwright Age 77, passed away on Sunday December 19, 2010 from a long struggle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). Preceded in death by his parents G. Raymond Cartwright, Mary (Mahoney) Cartwright, 2 sisters Pat (Jack) Trittipoe and Mickey Lange, brother-in-law Ray Lange, and son-in-law Billy Joe Nobles. Survived by his wife Jane of 34 years; his 5 children Randy (Kay) Cartwright, Jody (Ray) Kaptena, Debi (Bob) Chamberlin, David (Marsha) Cartwright, and Jacque Nobles, 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, good friends Louie and Bev Zazzara, and Necia Dickerman (caregiver). As much as he loved his flower garden bird feeders and wind chimes, his real passion was breeding and showing their purebred Birman cats to 10 regional wins and 1 National win. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15, then will proceed to St. Rose Church in Wilmington for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10AM. Interment Oakwood Cemetery Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 8PM.
