Robert J. Bertucci

Robert Jay Bertucci, died suddenly on July 24, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Bob "Slugger" Bertucci was born on March 23, 1938 in Rockdale, IL and was an Army Veteran, having served in Korea.
Bob was a Local 161 Area 11 Cement Mason and devoted Union member of 44 years.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Maxine (nee Koren) Bertucci; three sons, Randy (Debbie), Allan "Harpo" (Jodie) and James (Carol); also surviving are his cherished grandchildren, Courtney, Hannah and Nikolas Bertucci; his brother, George and brother-in-law, Jay (Shirley) Koren.
Preceded in death by his parents, James and Olive Bertucci; four sisters and one brother.
Bob enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and preparing his special spaghetti dinners. He was a lifetime member of Dale A.C.
A Celebration of Bob's life will begin on Sunday July 29, 2012 with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life. All relatives and friends will meet at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. for interment.
