Loving mother of Christina(Jeffrey)Daniels; David(Karen Scheidt); James Jr.; Steven(Beverly) and Joseph Sr.(Michelle)Kaminskas; dearest grandmother of Jonas(Kelly), Lauren (Jonathon Medcalf) and Mattie Kaminskas; Laura, Timothy and Colleen Daniels; Jay Kaminskas; Kristin and Joseph Jr. Kaminskas; Katherine and Maredith Kaminskas; two sisters-in-law, Pauline(late Richard) Bertolotti and Maria (late Frank) Bodnar; and one brother-in-law Kestutis (late Birute) Kaminskas. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, James Kaminskas Sr. (1995); parents, Oscar and Rose(nee Gualdoni) De St. Jean; two sisters, Patsy in infancy and Jean (late Fred) Steffen; and one brother, Richard Bertolotti.
Rita was born in Joliet and resided in Rockdale for most of her married life. She was involved in many Rockdale community and school organizations, including Band Parents Association, Grade School PTO, Volunteer Fire Dept. Rock-ettes, and St. JoeA�??s CCW. Rita also worked alongside her husband, Jim, in his position as Rockdale Village Trustee for many years. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of RitaA�??s life will be held on Wednesday March 7, 2012, starting with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, then in procession to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, 2 to 8 PM at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
