Rita M. Chapla

Age 60 at rest Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Salem Village after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson "s disease. Rita never complained and will be greatly missed. She was employed at Joliet Republican Painting Company and later employed as a certified nurse"s assistant. Beloved sister of Mitzi (late Jack) Ferry, Rose Silakowski and Leonard Chapla; sister-in-law Bonnie Chapla. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Rita was preceded in death by her mother Louise Mary Chapla and her father John Chapla; brother John Edward (in infancy); several aunts, uncles and cousins. Thank you to the staff at Salem Village, Joliet Area Community Hospice and Dr. Tourk. Also Leonard Chapla, Bonnie Chapla, friend and neighbor Phyllis Guzman and especially to her nephew Steve Ferry for his support and advice these last several years. In lieu of flowers The Michael J. At Rita"s request cremation rites were accorded. Private Services were held.
