Richard J. Shroba

Age 74, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
Richard is survived by his beloved son Richard J. (Denise) Shroba Jr.; Grandson, Eric J. (Maureen) Shroba; Great-grandson, Scott J. Shroba; Sister, Evelyn (the late John) Gawenda; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his beloved dog Tammy.
Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Carolyn (nee Hassert); Grandson, Scott Allen Shroba; Parents, Charles and Mary (nee Kozak) Shroba; Sister, Peg (Don) Drauden; Brother, Charles (Donna) Shroba.
Richard was a 50 year member of Capenters Local 174; past member of the Elks Club, AKC Kennel Club showing St. Bernard dogs, and of the Roadrunners Club of Joliet. Richard was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing.

A Celebration of RichardA�??s life will begin Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. with a service at the funeral home chapel.
