Survived by brother LeRoy (Kathleen) Mihelich, sister-in-law Mary (Late Tony) Mihelich, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded by parents Anton and Anna (nee Petrovic) Mihelich and brother Tony Mihelich. Richard was a veteran of the US Army Korean War where he earned Korean service medal with three bronze service stars, Combat infantry badge, United Nations service medal, and Army occupation medal. He retired from US Steel and was a member of American Legion Harwood Post.
