Age 67. At rest Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Louise (nee DeSignor) Bozich; loving father of Rebecca Conner, Richard (Vicky) Bozich Jr; devoted grandfather of Rosemary Conner, Kala (Andrew) Bormet, Richard 'Ricky' Lawrence III, Anthony L. Bozich; one sister, Rosalie (Merrill) Andel; mother-in-law, Mary C. (late Frank) DeSignor. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Julianna (nee Stober) Bozich.
Richard was born in Bloomington, Il. and has resided in Channahon for the past 30 years. Owned and operated Rich's Phillips 66 Service Station for 15 years, and the Joliet Herald News for 8 years. He worked for Vidmar Buick, Channahon Park District and was a member of the Croation Fraternal Union and KSKJ.
From where services will be held on Monday, March 12th at 9:30 AM to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass Of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6 PM.
