Richard J. Albert Jr

Richard J. "Rick" Albert, Jr. age 57, entered eternal life on Sunday, October 4, 2015.

Richard is survived by his loving daughter, Stephanie (Joseph) Stevens; cherished grandsons, Austin, Dylan, Dustin, and Aidyn Stevens; dear brother, Kenneth (Karen) Albert; dear sister, Donna (Jeff) Blazekovich; loving nieces and nephews, Stacy, Jeffrey, Michael, Dennis, Craig, Kelly, Tim, and Aimee; former wife and friend, Marcia Albert White; as well as numerous aunts and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Wilma Jean (nee Williams) Albert; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

Rick was a proud member of Local 444 as an iron worker. Rick reached out to many people who needed help. The challenges that he faced in life allowed him to connect deeply with others who faced the same struggles.

A Celebration of Richard's life will begin on Friday, October 9, 2015 with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Celebrant Ken Plese officiating. Per Rick's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
