Raymond H. Zaletel

Raymond H. Zaletel, age 90, passed away on July 1, 2012 at his home of 50 years, which he shared with his loving wife. Raymond was a lifelong resident of Joliet.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Lucille M. (Nee Donick); parents John and Angela (Nee Matekovic); brothers John Zaletel, Joseph (Josephine) Zaletel, Albert (Rose) Zaletel, Edward (Rose) Zaletel, William A�??DocA�?i�� Zaletel; sister Ann Kozan; grandchildren John Zaletel and Beylen Testa.

Survived by his son Dennis (Betty) Zaletel; daughter Theresa McGuire; grandchildren Michael (Erin) Testa, Chris (Joe) Bajner, Mark (Kristen) Testa, Carrie Zaletel and Sara (Ryan) Dixon; great grandchildren Mike, Matt and Brenna Testa, Jake, Cameron and Connor Hotuyec, Cullen and Laken Testa, Joey and Jimmy Bajner, Landon Dixon and caregiver Elia.

Raymond was a retired steel worker from U.S Steel in Joliet. He was an active member and volunteer at St. Thaddeus until the church closed. His years were filled with the enjoyment of hunting, fishing, golf and spending time with his grandchildren.

The Celebration of Raymond H. ZaletelA�??s life will begin on Friday with prayers at 10:30am; then in procession to St. Bernard Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Friday at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life from 9:00 a.m. A�?? 10:30 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.
