Raymond A. Majetich

Raymond A. Majetich, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, December 15, 2015.

Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Susann “Sue” (nee Costa); loving daughters, Sharon (Kevin) Majetich-Haggerty and Sandra Toth; cherished granddaughter, Kristen (Alex) Wilkinson; dear step-grandsons, Sean and Ryan Haggerty; dear sister-in-law, Rosalie (Louis) Jandura; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, Valentine “Tony” and Veronica “Verna” (nee Chrapezynski) Majetich.

Ray retired from Com Ed after over 35 years of employment. He was a passionate and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his wife, Sue and family in Siesta Key, Florida where they made many wonderful memories together. He will be greatly missed.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ramesh Patel and Staff of Joliet Cardiology Center for the excellent care provided.

A Celebration of Ray’s life will begin on Friday, December 18, 2015 with a memorial visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL 60435. The family invites relatives and friends to gather at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus on Saturday, December 19, 2015 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Per Ray’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
