Raymond F.(Bill) A'Hearn, Sr. age 87, entered eternal life on October 21, 2014 at Salem Village Nursing and Rehab.
Born October 5th 1927 in Chicago, IL. Graduate of Joliet Catholic High School (1946). US Army Veteran and formally employed by Illinois Bell.
Raymond is survived by his children, Annette (Vince) Driscoll, Mary Kay (late Chuck) Bernard, Raymond, Teresa (Jeff) Kolmodin and Tony (Delaine Page); Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Kathryn (Gannon) A'Hearn; his brothers, John (Jack) and David; his sisters, Patricia Murray, Jane Brewster-Jones, Peg Meyering and Elinor Jones.

A Celebration of Raymond's life will begin on Thursday, October 23, 2014 with a visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet from 9:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home.
