Randy Lee Cartwright
Age 55. Passed away suddenly Sunday October 16, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Survived by his wife of 32 years, Kay Cartwright; sons, Robert (Vanessa) Wilda, Daniel (Stephanie) Wilda; daughter, Kristina (James) Shadowens; grandchildren, Keaton, Quentin, Aiden, and Jovia Shadowens; mother, Necia Dickerman; step-mother, Jane Cartwright; brother, David (Marsha) Cartwright; sisters, Jody (Ray) Kaptena, Deborah (Bob) Chamberlin, and Jacque Nobles. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his father, Robert Cartwright.
Randy was a devoted husband, a loving father, and grandfather. He was an extremely honest man and hard worker. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed metal detecting, and collecting coins.
A memorial service for Randy L. Cartwright will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2011 from 3-5 P.M. at Good Samaritan Ministries Church, 500 Millboro Street, Joliet, IL 60436. Committal services and Military Honors will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Anyone planning to attend should meet at the funeral home no later than 10:30 A.M. for the procession to the cemetery.
