Ralph L. Prazak

Born September 27, 1939 and passed away on May 27, 2015.

Survived by his wife of 46 years Nancy (Zaura) Prazak; three children, Elizabeth (Efren) Dangond, Michael (Melinda), and Stephanie (Leo) Rivillas.

Cherished Papa to Madison, Hadley, Alanah, Maxwell, Cristian, Keegan, Liliana and Leo.

Also survived by his brother Paul (Anne) and sister Nancy (Anthony) Bugajsky and many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed dearly by his mother-in- law Genevieve Zaura (Mizger) and Uncle William Mizger.

Preceded in death by his parents; Edward and Michaeline (Rogalski) Prazak.

Ralph graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Lewis College in 1966, and his Master's degree from Webster University in 1980.

He taught Social Studies at Maddock Junior High School in Burbank, Il, for 32 years, where he also coached basketball and volleyball. He was also employed by Jewel Food Stores for over 25 years in the Security Department.

He was an expert fisherman and member of Riverside Fishing Club, Salmon Unlimited and Teachers Fishing Club. Collector of Lionel trains and member of the Lionel Train Association. Huge collector of Department 56 villages; Loyal Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls fan. He was a past player on basketball, volleyball and softball teams throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, donations are kindly accepted at the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 or to the Prazak grandchildren's education fund.

A celebration of Ralph's life will begin on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A service will be held following the visitation at 2:30 p.m.; Certified Celebrant Ken Plese officiating.
