Pravin “Pinu” G. Pitroda, age 70, at rest on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 with his loving family by his side.
Pinu is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sonya Pitroda; children, Parol (Manish) Rege, Tanya (Nimesh) Soni, Sean (Sumi) Pitroda and Priyanka Pitroda; grandchildren, Rhea and Kiaan Rege, Niam Soni and Aiden Pitroda; siblings, Maneklal Pitroda, Satyanarayan Pitroda, Sushila Ray, Pushpa Pitroda, Jyotsna Parmar and Indira Makwana and their loving spouses; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Gangaram and Shanti Pitroda; sister, Manjula Rathod.
Pinu was a pillar of strength for the entire family; he was a loving husband, father, friend and mentor who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who is providing support and contributing to celebrating Pinu’s life.
A celebration of Pinu’s life will be on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded immediately following the service.
