Phyllis M. Terlep

Phyllis Terlep, age 92, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Terlep; parents, Julius and Jennie (nee Mont) Stanislaus, three brothers, Herbert, David (in infancy), Edward Stanislaus, and one sister, Rita (nee Stanislaus) Leone.

Phyllis is survived by her devoted daughter, Lynn Clausen; two sons, Mark (Cyndi) and Wayne (April) Terlep; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom cherished her presence.

Born and raised in Joliet, Phyllis was a lifelong resident of the Joliet area. She was a long-time member of Holy Cross Church, Cantigny Post #367, and KSKJ Lodge #29.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care for their compassionate care and support in her final months.

In accordance with Phyllis’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and inurnment will be held privately.

Phyllis’s warmth, generosity, and love will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
