Phyllis T. Mutz Nee Alberico
Born in Joliet December 15 1917. At rest Saturday February 26, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center Preceded in death by her husband Raymond Mutz, her son Ronald Mutz, parents Peter and Constance (nee Bucciferro) Alberico, two brothers Nunzio and Daniel (late Louise) and one sister Angela (late Sam) De Angelis
Survived by her daughter Patricia Erie of New York, sister Edith (late Chris) Alberico of Crest Hill, brothers Henry (Rose) and Eugene (Janet) Alberico, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A devout Catholic, Phyllis enjoyed singing in the Choir at St. Anne Church for many years. Being a master seamstress, she was known for her remarkable creativity. Her beautiful smile and courageous spirit will be greatly missed by many. Member of KSKJ, CCW, The Italian Cultural Club, Cantigny Post Ladies Auxiliary. A Celebration of Phyllis"s Life will begin with prayers on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the funeral home at 9:30, then in procession to St. Anne Church, Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 until 8 PM.
