Phyllis A. Colwell

Phyllis A. Colwell (nee Cleary), age 86, late of Joliet, passed away on November 14, 2012 at Senior Star with her family by her side. Survived by her children Lawrence (Kimberly) Colwell, Gerald Colwell and Julianne (Dennis) Blackburn; her grandchildren Eamon Colwell, Stacey Baltz, Lauren Colwell, Keely Colwell, Thomas Colwell, Adam and Trevor Blackburn; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl W. Colwell.
Phyllis graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing, and worked as a nurse for 26 years. According to her family, Phyllis had the A�??gift of gabA�?i�� and she had a strong love for her animals. Phyllis and her husband Earl also enjoyed traveling.
At PhyllisA�?? request, cremation rites have been accorded. Family will meet relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery for inurnment. There will be no service at the funeral home.
