Peter Petkovich Sr.
Age 94, at rest Wednesday February 27, 2008 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years Leona (nee Kluga) Petkovich, son Peter (Kathy) Petkovich, three grandchildren Michael, Stevan and Danny Petkovich, sister Milka (late Joe) Orlovich, brother in law Casimir (Annamae) Kluga. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Vaso and Helen Petkovich, five sisters Sophi (Leo) Klemnt, Mary (George) Shimek, Stella (Joe) Enich, Bessie (John) Hrechko, and Honey (Fred) Pribish, Fred Pribish Jr. and Helen Olson. Born in Joliet. Veteran of the US Army WWII. Retired from Joe Schudt Surveying CO.
Peter will lie in state Saturday March 1, 2008 at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church from 9 AM until time of service at 10 AM with Rev. Ned Lunich Officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
