Pedro Frausto Jr.

Pedro Frausto, Jr., age 85, born in Joliet, IL on June 28, 1938 and passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023.

Pedro was a lifelong resident of Joliet, he graduated from St. Joseph Grade School and Joliet

Catholic High School. Pedro Served in the United States Navy and retired from the railroad after many years of service.

Pedro is survived by his loving sisters and brothers, Patricia (the late Tomas) Ponce, Marie Therese (Abel) Alvarado, Linda (Jesus) Luna, Paul (Sharon) and Richard (Pam) Frausto; his stepchildren, Joseph “Eli” (Claudia) Valerio, Joe (Stella) Delgado and Christine Rodriguez; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Sr. and Trinidad Frausto; wife, April Frausto; brothers, Rudolph and Ralph Frausto; sisters, Sara (Tony) Lopez, Beatrice Lara, Marie Christine (Moises) Alvarado, Salvador Ramirez and Mary Frausto.

A celebration of Pedro’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 with a memorial visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, where Pedro and April will be laid to rest together.
