Pauline E. (Spidel) Redman-Machak

Pauline E. Redman-Machak, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2017 with her loving family by her side.

Pauline is survived by her loving children, Richard John (Kathryn) Machak, Joseph Michael (Sherry) Machak, Robert Richard Machak, James (Kathleen Solley) Machak, Rita Marie (Ray) Troutman and Edward Paul Machak; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, John (Elsie) Spidel; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death her parents, Paul and Bernetha (nee Potts) Spidel.

Pauline was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church in Joliet. She was the past president of the Women’s Auxiliary for the American Legion Post #1080. Pauline’s greatest joy was her children and loved spending time with her family. Pauline will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline’s name to St. Jude Catholic Church in Joliet for the funding of the new church would be appreciated.

A celebration of Pauline’s life will begin on Friday, January 13, 2017 with a visitation at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2212 McDonough St, Joliet, IL 60436 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.

There will be no funeral home services.
