Pauline M. (nee Jaso) Padilla, age 85, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017.
Pauline is survived by her loving children, James (Lisa) Padilla Jr., Patricia (Chuck) Orlovich, Judy (Joe) Shulk and Joseph Padilla; grandchildren, Justin, Kevin, Danielle, and Ashley Padilla, Chad (Ashley) Orlovich, Jeremy (Heidi) Orlovich and Josh Orlovich, Matthew (Sarah) Shulk and Mike Shulk, Kenneth and Lillian Padilla; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Serina, James, Evangeline, Aryanna, Alayna, Aidric, Hailey, Sophia and Payton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Padilla Sr., two grandchildren in infancy; one great-grandchild in infancy; parents, Manuel and Catherine Jaso; and twelve siblings.
Pauline was a lifelong resident of Joliet, IL. She was a parishioner at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. Pauline enjoyed traveling to Florida with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to play Bingo and solve puzzles. Pauline enjoyed doing arts and crafts and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Pauline’s life will begin on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet) from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 p.m. Per Pauline’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
