Paul Francis Seymour, Age 101, born January 24, 1913, passed away peacefully with his family at his side at home Tuesday, August 5, 2014.
Beloved father of four loving children: daughter, Pauline (Joe) Mikuska and sons: Robert (Ann Brinkman), Alphe (Pat Hines), and Arthur (Maryann Williams) Seymour; Loving grandfather of seven grandchildren; and great-grandfather of eighteen great-grandchildren. Several dear brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
HE SHALL BE MISSED BY ALL!
Preceded in death by his loving parents, Alphe and Alma (nee Pilon) Seymour; loving wife, Cecile (nee Lemrise); sister, Clare (Mitch) Wnek; and brothers, Louis (Dorothy) and Adrian (Gertrude / Lorraine) Seymour.
Paul was a man of great faith and was dedicated to family. As a young man he began his career as a Salada Tea Salesman. He later became a self-employed building contractor. In retirement, Paul was a creative craftsman and inventor.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Cecile Bourguignon, dedicated nurse and cousin, for her loving advice and care for Paul over the years.

A Celebration of Paul's life will begin on Friday, August 15, 2014 with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, 60435. Visitation will also be on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel then driving in procession to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brookforest Ave., Shorewood, IL (RT. 59) for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Fr. Jim Lennon officiating. Interment will follow at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery (chapel) in Joliet.
