Patrick R. Haggerty, age 53, of Joliet, at rest on Friday, January 25, 2013, with his loving family by his side.
Preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and one brother Kerry A�??ScooterA�?i�� Haggerty.
Survived by his parents Bernard and Kathleen A�??PatA�?i�� Haggerty; his siblings Michael (Patricia) Haggerty, Colleen (Robert) Fox, Daniel Haggerty, Terrance Haggerty, Kevin (Heidi) Haggerty; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Patrick is a 1980 graduate of Joliet Township High School and a former employee of Cornerstone Services. He was an avid fan of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Bugs Bunny and Friends. Patrick loved to draw cartoon characters and go to garage sales. He loved to swim, go on bike rides and take trips with his mom and dad. Patrick was a A�??jolly good fellow.A�?i�� He made a difference in every life he touched and will be deeply missed by all.
In lieu of flowers donations in PatrickA�??s name may be made to the National Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
A Celebration of PatrickA�??s life will begin on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home chapel then moving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life.
