Age 57, at home and at rest with the Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2007 with her family by her side.
Born August 13, 1950 in Joliet to the late Robert and Angela (nee Carlos) Sopher. Patricia was employed by Ace Hardware Corporate Headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois for 20 years. She was very involved with St. Elizabeth Seton Church. There she was a greeter and sponsored many people in the journey to baptism in the RIC program. One of her proudest accomplishments was receiving her license for Massage Therapy from Redfern Massage School. Through her massage she touched and healed so many lives.
Survived by her adoring daughter Denise (Robert) Kovas; her cherished grandchildren Kailey, Molly and Conor. Sister to Barbara and Wayne Broadfield, Bob and Doris Sopher, Carol and Doug Pirc, Jim and Debbie Sopher, Bill Sopher, Paula Sibr, and Danny and Kelly Sopher. Patricia was also a very gernerous and loving Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Patricia"s name to The University of Chicago Leukemia Program 5841 S. Maryland MC2115 Chicago, IL 60637-1470 would be appreciated.
Tezak"s Home to Celebrate Life
From where services will be held at 9:30AM to Holy Family Parish in Shorewood for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 AM. Her final resting place will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Friday from 3-8 PM.
