Patricia D. Oglesby

Patricia D. Oglesby (nee Davis), Age 54, entered eternal life on Friday, February 7, 2014 with her loving family by her side after fighting a courageous battle.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Bennie; son, Brandon R. Oglesby; granddaughter, Sianna; brother, William (Linda) Davis; two sisters, Sandra (John) Depratt and Karen (Mike) Nebe; also survived by numerous relatives and her loving pet, Lola.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dolores (nee Haller) Davis.

Patti was an exceptional hairstylist and barber in the Joliet area for many years. She was an adventurist who loved to hike, fish, and travel and had a particular love for the Smoky Mountains. Patti's love and kindness touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

The family would like to thank Silver Cross Hospital, Rosewood Care Center, and VITAS Hospice for the exceptional care provided to Patti during her time of illness.

A Celebration of Patricia's life will begin with a Visitation to be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 11, 2014at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church - 901 Elizabeth Street, Joliet.

All relatives and friends are invited to meet at the Church. Per Patricia's wishes cremation rites will be accorded.
