Age 74, at rest Thursday May 27, 2010 peacefully at her home.
Loving mother of Kim (Russ) Hayes, Vicki (Jeff Zeh) Rooney, Lori (Rick) Tkaczyk and Geri (Bob) Barranco, dearest grandmother of Gavin and Spencer Hayes, Erin, Brennan and Cailin Rooney, Andrew Weimer, Emily and Kiley Tkaczyk, Trisha and Sara Barranco, special grandmother to Jessica and Ryan Zeh. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.Preceded in death by her parents Anton and Susan (nee Kovalcik) Glavan. Patricia was born in Joliet and was a life long resident. She was employed as the Athletic Secretary at the University of St. Francis for the past 35 years and became a surrogate mother to the hundreds of students who attended the university. In lieu of flowers donations to the University of St. Francis Athletic Department in her name would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Patricia"s life will be held on Wednesday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. , then will proceed to St. Joseph Church Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8PM
