Age 62. Passed away peacefully Wednesday May 9, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. Pamela was born in Hinsdale, IL and raised in Westmont, IL. Resided in Joliet for most of her life recently living in Stover, MO. Pamela was a Senior Accounts Specialist at Christian Brothers Services in Romeoville for over 20 years. She also was an Office Administration Associate for Columbia Pipe Supply for 13 years. Pam loved animals and gardening. She and Jim attended many car shows together over the years. Pam was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her loving husband of 43 years, James A�??JimA�?i�� C. Hajek Jr.; her loving daughters; Tracey Hajek, Lisa (fiancA�AC. Angelo D. Tanas) Bato, Amy Hajek, and Cathie Bennett; 5 loving grandchildren; Alan Dupree, James Dean, Drew Bato, Deuce Woestendiek II, and Autumn Hajek; a sister, Patricia J. (late Joseph) Widmark; her mother-in-law, Arlene (nee Nash) Hajek; a sister-in-law, Patricia (nee Hajek) Frelichowski; her very close and dear friends, Rachelle Prodehl, Dorothy Strutton, and Paul Belschak. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer F. and Ruth L. (nee Mongrieg) Faber; 2 grandchildren, Gage Woestendiek and Jocelynn Hajek.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of the United States in her name would be appreciated.
A celebration of PamelaA�??s life will take place Tuesday Evening May 15, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will embrace relatives and friends Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
