Maria Paloma Leon Torres, age 28, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
Paloma is survived by her loving husband, Adrian Torres; parents, Jorge and Margarita Leon; brothers, Jorge (Amanda) Leon and Luis (Cinnamon) Leon; step-daughter, Sarina Torres; nieces and nephews, Canela Leon, Sophie and Macy Luxton, Genesis and Clarisa Lopez, Ana and Noah Torres; sisters-in-law, Rosa Lopez, Marisol (Kevin) Luxton, Emma (Andy) Bauer and Sandra Torres; brother-in-law, Hermilio Torres;
Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lorenzo and Margarita Leon; maternal grandparents, Agustin and Maria De Los Angeles Alcaraz.
Paloma was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She graduated from Providence Catholic High School, class of 2005. Paloma loved the Chicago Cubs and Bears, to shop, her fashion, and most of all spend time with her husband, family and close friends. Paloma was a kind heart woman who always put others before herself and enjoyed helping people.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paloma’s name to Vilaseca Josephine Center, 351 N Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60432 would be appreciated.
A celebration of Paloma’s life will begin on Saturday, February 20, 2016 with prayer in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3-8 p.m.
