Otto Waibel
August 17, 1921 — November 16, 2015
Otto Waibel, age 94, entered into eternal life on Monday, November 16, 2015 with his loving wife and family by his side.
Otto is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Erika Waibel (nee Albrecht).
Otto was born in Germany and came to the United States with his wife, Erika in 1959. They lived a long happy life together, residing in Crest Hill since 1967.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Joliet Area Community Hospice.
A Celebration of Otto’s life will begin with a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church, 1741 Essington Rd, Joliet, IL 60435. Per Otto’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services held at the funeral home.
