Nok (Saengsouriyaso) Gou

Nok Gou (nee Saengsouriyaso), 40, passed away peacefully in her home on November 25, 2020 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by Khamphou Manisack and Khamnang Manisack.

Nok is survived by her parents, Kong Saengsouriyasi and Khone Saengsouriyaso, devoted husband of 21 years, Eric Gou, children Eric Gou Jr and Naomi Gou, siblings Pho (Seng) Souvannasing, Touy (Jessica) Saengsouriyaso and Kathy (Ryan) Smith, as well as nieces and nephews, Sydney Souvannasing, William Saengsouriyaso, Jordyn Saengsouriyaso and Trenton Smith.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, a daughter, big sister, the best aunt and greatest friend. She will be missed dearly.

She graduated from Joliet Central High School. Nok was a machine operator who was loved by her bosses and coworkers. She was very dependable.

A private service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 and a livestream will be made available at 1:00 p.m. for those wishing to attend virtually. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
