Nicolas Campos, age 69, of Joliet, passed away July 23, 2008 at Joliet Area Hospice. Preceded in death by his son, Anthony Campos; his parents, Daniel Campos and Agustina Pena; his brothers, Frank Campos and Daniel Campos.
Survived by his wife, Emilia Caracheo Campos; her children, Julio C. Gonzalez, Edgar Gonzalez, Juan I. Gonzalez, Jonathon Gonzalez, and Michael A. Gonzalez; his children, Maria Silva, Nicholas Campos, Jr., Victoria Campos, Edward Campos; and numerous grandchildren; brother to Manuel Campos, Lucia Martinez, Amelia Rodriguez (Ramon), Irene Martinez (Roberto), Ambrosia Pena, Santos (Elsa) Campos, Arturo (Andrea) Campos, Andrea (Bonifacio) Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Joliet Area Hospice.
Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 am then to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (Jackson St.) for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 11:00 am. Inurnment Mt. Olivet Cemetery Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 until time of service at the funeral home.
