Age 92, entered eternal life on Sunday, December 29, 2013 with his loving family by his side.
Natale is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Mary C. Fazio (nee Carugati); loving children, Roy, Donald, Natale (Lisa), and Mary Jo Fazio; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his son, Michael Fazio.
Natale was a longtime parishioner of the Church of St. Anthony in Joliet. He served proudly in the U.S. Army, Field Artillery 30th Division during World War II and he earned a Silver Star. He belonged to the Stone City VFW Post #2199 and the Joliet Moose Lodge # 300. He was a Barber for over 50 years, owning his own shop and was an instructor at Stateville Prison. Natale was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers donations in Natale's name may be made to the Joliet Area Community Hospice.
A Celebration of Natale's life will begin on Friday, January 3, 2014 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. then driving in procession to the Church of St. Anthony in Joliet for a Mass of Christian burial to be held at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood where Military Honors will be held.
