Nannette J. (Long) Konjevich

Nannette J. Konjevich (nee Long), age 75, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Nannette is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Donald Konjevich; loving daughter, Karla (Kelly) Martin; loving son, Matthew (Connie) Konjevich; dear siblings, Charlotte (Ronald) Johnson and James (Judy) Long; cherished grandchildren, Kraig (Jenna) Martin, Blair, Emma, and Andrew Konjevich; cherished great granddaughter, Kendall Martin,; dear sister-in-law, Linda (the late Robert) Long; as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her dearly loved parents, Lee and Lucinda (nee Patterson) Long; beloved brother, Robert Long (2012); and cherished granddaughter, Nancy “Katie” Martin (2014).

Nannette was a longtime employee at Exxon Mobil, a place she truly enjoyed working. She was a strong, supportive woman both to her family and friends. She was a beautiful wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her presence will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nannette’s name to SouthField Church of Channahon, First Baptist Church of Channahon, or St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Joliet, would be greatly appreciated.

Funeral Services for Nannette will begin on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at SouthField Church, 24557 W. Eames St, Channahon, IL 60410. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln Nation Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435.
