Nancy Katherine "Katie" Martin, age 33, entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 11, 2014.
Katie is survived by her loving parents, Kelly and Karla (nee Konjevich) Martin; loving brother Kraig (Jenna) Martin; dear niece, Kendall Martin; loving maternal grandparents, Donald and Nannette (nee Long) Konjevich; loving paternal grandmother, Nancy Thorpe; special aunt, Kamelia Oneth; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her great grandparents, Lee and Lucinda Long; and Milos Sr. and Martha Konjevich; uncle, Robert E. Long; and aunt, Krystal.
Katie served very proudly and excelled in the U.S. Coast Guard. Katie loved and adored her family and was loved and adored in return. She has left us early to mourn her loss, but will remain in our hearts.
Donations may be made in Katie's name to Wounded Warrior Project.
Funeral services for Nancy will begin on Monday, December 15, 2014 with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435.
