Nancy L. (Kolenc) Belom

Nancy L. (nee Kolenc) Belom, age 79, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 with her family by her side.

Nancy was born on April 10, 1938. She is survived by her loving sons, Raymond (MaryEllen) and Richard (Tracie) Belom; daughter-in-law, Raelene Mills; “Nanny” to Danielle and Nicholas Belom, John DuPerry, Janene (Steven) Lewis, Tyler and Samantha DuFour; great grandmother to Amelia Bayuk, Tristan and Tyler Balchunas and Tate Lewis; brother, Robert (Margaret) Kolenc; nieces, Kathleen (Michael) Albertino, Lori (Robert) DelaFuente; nephew, John Kolenc and numerous cousins.

Preceded in death by her son, Robert J. Belom (1998), and parents, John and Agnes (nee Gregorich) Kolenc.

Nancy retired in 2001 from Folger Adams Security after 18 years of dedicated service. She was the secretary for the Lockport Chapter of AARP and loved being a part of the Willow Falls community and participating in their activities. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will begin with a visitation on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m., then driving in procession to St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Nancy will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 26, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Road - Joliet, IL).
