Nalbert Cardenas
June 7, 1964 — March 28, 2017
Nalbert Cardenas “Nal”, age 52, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
Nalbert is survived by his children, Jacob and Jordan Cardenas; mother, Pauline Cardenas; sister, Gina (John) Burzawa; niece and nephews, Brittany Burzawa, Nicholai (Jordan Burkybile) Burzawa and Anthony Burzawa; great -niece Elina Burzawa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Nalbert graduated from Joliet Central High School. He was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, receiving numerous honors and medals. He was an avid White Sox fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Gavino Cardenas; paternal grandparents, Simon Sr. and Elvira Cardenas and maternal grandparents Hinjio Jimenez and Rosa Olivarez.
A celebration of Nalbert’s life will begin on Monday April 3, 2017 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home 1211 Plainfield Road Joliet from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Per Nalbert’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded after the service.
