Monica B. Jeretina
February 3, 1946 — May 19, 2008
Age 62, at rest Monday May 19, 2008 at the Joliet Area Hospice Home with her family and care giver by her side.
Survived by her four sisters Bridget Jeretina, Magdalen (John) Reed, Mary Ann Jeretina Agnes (David) Kapinus, four brothers Michael (Rosemarie), John, Andrew (Danielle) and Matthew Jeretina, step children Alex (Joni) and Louis (Marie) Tsakiris, Katrina (Ron) Stevens and Paula Rose (Michael) Severino and several grandchildren, two uncles Joe and Frank Jeretina also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special thanks to her caregiver John, Karen, Ralph and to all of the other caregivers that showed loving care to Monica. Preceded in death by her husband Alexander Tsakiris, parents Michael and Bridget (nee Ster) Jeretina and her loving aunt Maria Jeretina. Monica was born in Duisburg-Hanborn, Germany resided in Elwood the past eight years, she was a Registerd Nurse in Texas until an automobile accident left her disabled in 1997. Member of Sacred Heart Parish.
