Age 83, at rest on Friday, July 27, 2007 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Loving sister of Mary (late George) DeSaegher, Sally (late Frank) Massucci, Mike, John, and Nina Krga. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and special friend Sophie Anderson.
Preceded in death by her husband John 'Black Eye' Dejan-ovich; son Steven; parents Todor and Bika Krga; two brothers, late George (Rose) Krga, late Peter (late Josephine) Krga; one sister late Evelyn and late Secondo Cora.
Mildred was born in Chicago, resided in Joliet most of her lifetime. Retired as Secretary from the Retail Clerks Union. Past Member of the Sloboda Choir, of St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church South Chicago, Lansing, IL. Current member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, St. George Circle of Serbian Sisters, SNF of Joliet, Joliet Quilters Guild, Joliet Moose #300 and Red Hatters.
Contributions to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Joliet Hospice or Sjogrens Syndrome Foundation in Mildred's name would be appreciated.
Mildred Dejanovich will lie in state Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 10:00AM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3-8 PM Pomen Service will begin at 7:30 PM.
