Age 93. At rest Monday January 16, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center in Joliet.
Survived by his loving wife of 23 years Gertrude ""Trudy"" (nee Biedermann) Mihailovich; a loving son, Eric (Sheri), and a loving daughter, Linda (Jim) Hardie; 3 loving grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Hardie and Raeanna Mihailovich; one brother and 5 sisters in Serbia. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, Novich and Lopova Mihailovich.
Mike was born in Yugoslavia and has resided in Joliet since 1950. He retired in 1983 from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 30 years. Mike was a member of the Joliet Seniors and loved to go bowling, and tend to his garden.
Funeral services for Mike Mihailovich will be Thursday January 19, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church for services at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Ned Lunich officiating. Interment to Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Pomen Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
